OEM / ODM SERVICE

Put your brand on a proven production line

From sheet-metal enclosures and final assembly to software customization and private labeling, TAILI builds self-service terminals for kiosk brands, system integrators and channel partners.

WHAT WE DO

Thirty years of kiosk manufacturing, an open OEM program

A self-service kiosk is not a box you can assemble from bought-in parts and sell. Industrial design, sheet-metal structure, module selection, driver adaptation, certification, burn-in testing and volume assembly — if any link in that chain is weak, lead time and batch consistency slip. Building the chain in-house means continuous tooling investment, line fixtures and an engineering team, which rarely pays off for a kiosk brand.

TAILI has been running that chain for close to thirty years: structural design and prototyping, embedded and application software, sheet-metal and final assembly, supply chain and quality control, and a nationwide service network — all inside one organization. You define the form factor, the feature list and the brand; we take it from drawing recovery and material consolidation through pilot validation to finished units off the line.

COOPERATION MODELS

Four ways to work with us

From the fastest route to market — private labeling an existing platform — to a fully redefined product, the four models differ in investment and lead time, and can be combined.

OEM Private Label

Reuse a proven TAILI platform and swap the silkscreen, boot logo, nameplate and packaging, then ship under your brand. Minimal change, fast launch — ideal for filling out a product line quickly.

  • Existing platform
  • Brand identity applied
  • Packaging & manuals

ODM Design & Build

Re-engineer an existing platform: dimensions, module configuration and industrial design reworked to your specification. Tooling and IP ownership are negotiable.

  • Structure & ID redesign
  • Module reconfiguration
  • IP terms negotiable

SKD / CKD Kits

Ship as semi-knocked-down or completely-knocked-down kits for local or overseas assembly, reducing freight and duty, with assembly work instructions and training included.

  • Kitted shipments
  • Assembly instructions
  • Remote assembly training

Software & Hardware Customization

Embedded software, peripheral drivers, user interface and back-end interfaces developed for your scenario, integrating with systems you already run. Source code delivery or managed maintenance by agreement.

  • Embedded & drivers
  • Custom UI
  • System integration
Model comparison (lead times are typical; actual schedule depends on requirement review)
Model We provide You provide Typical lead time
OEM Private Label Proven platform, brand identity and packaging swap, volume production Brand authorization, artwork, order plan 2–4 weeks
ODM Re-design Structural and industrial design, tooling, prototype validation, production Product definition, feature list, target cost 6–10 weeks
SKD / CKD Complete kits, assembly guidance, quality standards Assembly site, technicians, local certification Per order schedule
Software & Hardware Embedded software, UI and interface development, joint testing Business rules, API documentation, test environment Per requirement review
MANUFACTURING

Process coverage and quality control

Contract manufacturing is more than an assembly line — it runs from enclosure forming to burn-in testing, with documented work standards and inspection records at every stage.

Sheet-metal fabrication

CNC punching, bending, welding and finishing for kiosk enclosures, held to batch-to-batch consistency.

Final assembly

Modular station-based assembly of host, touch display, printing and identification modules, with records kept per unit.

Wiring harnesses & structural parts

Custom internal harnesses and matching structural parts, routed and labeled for straightforward field service and spares replacement.

Burn-in & inspection

Powered burn-in, full functional test and stability checks, with inspection records traceable by batch.

Packaging & labeling

Packaging, nameplates, manuals and accessories produced to your brand standard; neutral packaging available.

Supply chain coordination

Alternative sourcing and buffer stock for critical components to keep long-lead parts off the critical path.

PROCESS

Six steps from requirement to volume

Every step has defined deliverables and a sign-off gate, and project status stays visible to the customer.

QUALITY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Certifications, quality and confidentiality

ISO 9001

Quality management certification covering design, procurement, production and delivery.

ISO 14001

Environmental management certification; materials and processes meet environmental requirements.

OHSAS 18000

Occupational health and safety management certification for controlled shop-floor safety.

China 3C

Complete kiosks certified under China Compulsory Certification.

Double-Soft Enterprise

Certified software enterprise and software products, with proprietary patented software.

Confidentiality

NDA available before engagement; customer drawings, BOM and software assets are managed in isolation and never disclosed to third parties.

FAQ

Contract manufacturing FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

Prototypes start at one unit. MOQ for volume orders is assessed against model, depth of customization and tooling investment — private-label programs usually carry a lower MOQ than re-design programs, and the figure is fixed in the quotation.

How long do prototyping and production take?

Standard models ship in 2–4 weeks; projects involving custom structure or industry software usually take 6–10 weeks. Tooling, long-lead components and certification work are assessed separately and communicated in advance.

Who owns the design and software IP?

IP in existing TAILI platforms remains with TAILI. Structure, tooling and software developed specifically to your requirement can be allocated by contract, including buy-out or exclusive supply arrangements.

Can the TAILI brand be removed entirely?

Yes. Neutral packaging and pure customer-brand shipments are supported: silkscreen, boot screen, system UI, nameplate, carton and manuals all follow your standard. TAILI appears only where regulation requires a manufacturer name, and even that can be discussed.

Who handles after-sales for contract-built units?

Three options by agreement: factory warranty, customer-managed service, or joint service. TAILI provides a one-year unit warranty and spare parts; for customer-managed service we supply training, maintenance manuals and remote O&M platform accounts.

We already have drawings — can you go straight to production?

Yes. Send drawings, a sample unit or a specification and we run a design-for-manufacturing review first, returning notes on structure, process and cost optimization before prototyping and production.

Looking for a manufacturing partner?

Send drawings, a sample unit or just a feature list — TAILI will come back with a structural concept, cost range and lead time.
